Current transformers

Current transformers Standard and custom transformers, inductors, and chokes to fit almost any need in the 50/60Hz to 400Hz range. Most products are UL/CSA recognized or are designed to meed UL/CSA/VDE requirements. Other agency approvals can be obtained as needed.

  • Primary and Secondary windings are PC integrated - no need for the customer to install the primary winding separately as is usually required in toroidal designs
  • Low cost compact package design
  • Varnish impregnated to reduce audible noise
  • Plastic bobbin meets the UL 94 flamability requirement
  • Toroidal designs are typically 50% lighter and much more compact than traditional EI laminated transformers

  • Fully Certified Class 2 Wired in (plastic)-Highly isolated case requires no extra grounding, Rugged, high impact resistant enclosure
  • Choke - 'L' bracket mounted- Inductance to 100 Micro Henries - current to 50 Amps, Termination via screw terminals
  • Choke - channel frame mounted- Inductance to 30 Henries - Current to 10 Amps, Termination via 8" leads - other lead lengths optional
  • Current Transformer - PC mount- Primary and Secondary windings are PC board integrated, Custom sizes, ratings and terminations may be engineered for your specific application
  • Toroidal Power Transformer- 44 Standard models from 15VA to 500 VA, Dual115/230V 50/60Hz rated primary, Dual secondaries for series or parallel selection, Class B 130oC. Insulation system utilized
  • Class 2 energy-limiting cord connected transformer- Output voltage limited to meet the requirements for connection to Class 2 circuits as defined in the Electrical CodeCSA (NRTL/C) certified to C22.2 No. 223-M91 and UL 1310, 18" line cord standard longer cords available, Encased in black and beige steel box
